Annual homecoming activities at The University of Alabama will cause several roads on campus to be closed this weekend.
From roughly 6:30 – 10 p.m. on Friday, University Boulevard, between Hackberry Lane and Colonial Drive, will be closed, according to an email sent to university students.
The closures are due to the Homecoming pep rally and bonfire that will be on the Quad at 7 p.m.
The email also noted that the usual game-day barriers that block certain parking lots and roads will be on campus for Saturday’s Homecoming Parade at 1 p.m. Barriers will remain in place until after the 6 p.m. kickoff.
