An update on the University’s Diversity Mapping Project was offered by UA News on Monday.
The report said the project, which was started in 2016, is “nearing completion,” though no specific end date was given. The project will catalog all current diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, programs and courses on campus.
“[The project] is expected to help further shape the University’s Strategic Diversity Plan and other diversity efforts in coming years,” the report said.
The outside firm Hulualani & Associates has been hired to complete the project, under the direction and support of President Stuart R. Bell, Provost Kevin Whitaker, and the Strategic Planning Council’s Subcommittee on Diversity and inclusion.
