This Tuesday, the Honors College will host their 2017 Spring Internship Forum: An opportunity for students to prepare themselves to apply for and excel in internships. Geared at younger students, the panel will provide advice to younger students on how to get a head start on the internship process.
“Join us at the biannual Internship Forum, hosted by the Honors College, which highlights inspiring University of Alabama upperclassmen who boast incredible internship experience,” the event’s official web page reads. “Come learn how you can find similar opportunities in the following fields: investment banking, finance, consulting, non-governmental organizations and politics.”
WHO: The panel will consist of eight Honors College upperclassmen with past internship experience in finance, consulting and politics, and is free and open to all Honors College students.
WHAT: The event is a panel discussion by Honors College students on the topic of internships.
WHEN: The discussion will last from 6-8 p.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 28.
WHERE: The event will be held in the Great Hall in the Ferguson Student Center.
WHY: “The event is designed to give students an opportunity to get advice that applies directly to their situation from people who have been in their shoes,” said Alicia Browne, the Honors College’s director of college relations.
