UAPD responded to reports of one person being shot in the parking lot near 7th Avenue and Bryant Drive at around 3 a.m. Sunday, according to an email from the University.
UA sent an updated email at 3:41 a.m. saying the investigation is ongoing, but that it was an isolated incident.
“Police don’t believe there’s a threat to campus,” the email read. “Use caution and remain alert.”

UPDATE (1:32 p.m., 5/7/17):
Authorities arrested a suspect and charged him with murder, according to an email from the University. The situation is all clear.
Neither the victim nor the suspect are UA students.
