WHAT: Around the World at UA
WHEN: Wednesday, Aug. 24, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
WHERE: Crimson Promenade in front of B.B. Comer Hall
Megan Wagner, the coordinator for the Capstone International Center, said Around the World at UA is in its third year and it provides international student organizations with the opportunity to meet and recruit students.
“It’s an opportunity for our international student organizations, as well as our three departments of the CIC, to be able to recruit members, tell students about what they do, you know, fellowship and all kinds of stuff,” Wagner said.
Students who attend the event will have the opportunity to fill out a passport as they walk around the different tables that will be set up. At the end, students can turn in their passport to receive a Steel City pop, and also have a chance to win a set of Beats Wireless headphones.
