All seven boats that participated in the Knecht Cup for Alabama reached the finals of their races.
The Crimson Tide improved on its performance from last year, when the team had six boats go to the finals, and three competed in the Grand Finals. This year the Crimson Tide sent four teams to the Grand Finals.
The biggest performance was from the freshman/ novice team made up of lone sophomore Claire Estep, Emelia Watts, Tressa Vitus, Raien Emery, Victoria Kacsits, Rachel Sowell, Monica McGraw, Virginia Dodenhoff and Lauren Fehr that finished second. This made two consecutive years with medaling at the Knecht Cup Grand Final.
The two Second Varsity 4+ teams finished back to back with a fourth and a fifth place finish in the Grand Final.
