WHY: Jasmine Reese, a senior majoring in finance and economics, is the President of Al’s Pals and organizer of the fundraiser. She said Al’s Pals is very fortunate for the support it receives from students, teachers and members of the community.
“It’s an excellent opportunity because [Al’s Pals] is a nonprofit organization,” Reese said. “Sometimes funding can be limited, so this is a way we can support our program and continue to grow it.”
Reese said the event is eligible for Greek Points and that applications are open for Al’s Pals next semester for anyone interested in community service or getting involved on campus. The applications can be found here.
