The Bama Theatre is starting this year’s second Art House Film series tonight, with a new documentary from director Michael Moore. The doors to the show open at 6:30, and the film starts at 7:30.
In “Where to Invade Next,” the documentarian travels around the world to see what the United States can emulate about other countries. He looks at social policies in many European nations, such as Italy, where all workers are given ample vacation time, and France, where gourmet lunches are served in school cafeterias. In the past, Moore has directed acclaimed and controversial documentaries such as “Fahrenheit 9/11” and “Bowling for Columbine.”
This film is the first of the Bama Art House’s “mini series,” which will run for the next four weeks.
