The soulful vocals and Southern rock sounds of JJ Grey & Mofro will come to Druid City Music Hall Wednesday March 9. Their most recent album, “Ol’ Glory,” was released in March 2015 and highlights what happens when a band mixes blues, funk, folk and rock together to create something deep and personal.
JJ Grey & Mofro has appeared at major music festivals such as Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits. Two of the band’s songs have been featured in the hit Netflix series “House of Cards.”
The band will be playing with folk singer-songwriter artist David Ramirez who released a new album called “Fables” last August.
Doors open at Druid City Music Hall on University at 7:30 p.m. with the show starting at 8:30 p.m. All ages will be accepted and general admission tickets are on sale now for $25. For more information, visit druidcitymusichall.com or jjgrey.com.
