Kendell Jones, a defensive tackle, signed to play football for the University of Alabama on Wednesday.
He’s 6-foot-5, weighs 375 pounds and was rated a 4-star prospect by 247 Sports.
Jones played for Shoemaker High School in Killeen, Texas. His team finished this past season 9-3. Jones racked up 20 solo tackles, 26 total. He had five tackles for loss, four sacks for a loss of 24 yards and two quarterback hurries. He also caused two fumbles and had one fumble recovery.
