WHY: “Sonic Frontiers brings experimental and original music to The University of Alabama,” said Holland Hopson, the managing director of the group. “Olivia Block creates electroacoustic music combining chamber music, field recordings and electronic tecture. She has written scores for large orchestras and has created visual art and multimedia as well. It is going to be a very interesting and great performance.”
