Linebacker Reggie Ragland was named the SEC defensive player of the week following his performance in Alabama’s 27-14 victory over Arkansas.
Ragland led the team in tackles for the fifth time this season with eight total tackles. Ragland also recorded a sack, forced a fumble, hurried the quarterback twice and had a pass breakup.
Arkansas finished the game with 220 yards of total offense. The Razorbacks were averaging 476 yards a game before kickoff on Saturday.
