Kenan Thompson, of Saturday Night Live fame, could to the University of Alabama campus this fall semester to give a special guest lecture. NBCUniversal and Comcast Xfinity are partnering together to bring Thompson to a select university.
Students are encouraged to vote online through the event’s website Aug. 31-Sept. 28 to bring Thompson to their school. The university with the most votes will be selected to host Thompson later this semester. The winner will be announced at the end of Sept.
Making his television debut on the Nickelodeon sketch tv show “All That,” Thompson started acting at an early age starring in films such as “Fat Albert,” “Good Burger” and “Heavyweights.” Thompson will be returning for his 13th season of SNL this year. His most know sketches include Rev. Al Sharpton, Charles Barkley and Steve Harvey.
