Alabama softball’s Haylie McCleney was named the SEC Player of the Week, marking the second time the Alabama program has been honored in as many weeks. The junior led the Crimson Tide offense with a .571 batting average, 12 hits and 11 RBI during the past week. She earned a hit in five of the week’s six games, with five of her 12 hits going for extra bases. She scored a career-high four runs and drove in a season-high four RBI in the team’s 15-6 victory over Samford on Feb. 13, and matched her season-high four RBI in the team’s weekend finale on Feb. 15.
