Alabama junior Mary Anne Macfarlane was named to the 2013 Southeastern Conference Women’s Tennis Community Service Team, the league announced this week.
Macfarlane, from Ogden, Utah, is making her second-straight appearance on the team for her efforts both on campus and in the community. She has been active in Read Across America, Project Angel Tree and USTA/ITA Campus Kids’ Days. Additionally, Macfarlane took part in the athletic department’s Halloween Extravaganza and its Power of Pink events, helping to raise awareness for breast cancer.

Stuart Kenyon Named to SEC Community Service Team for Men’s Tennis.
Alabama sophomore Stuart Kenyon was named to the 2013 SEC Community Service Team for men’s tennis, the league announced this week.
Kenyon, from Houston, Texas, is a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and has taken part in several service efforts throughout the community including reading to elementary school students and volunteering at tennis clinics. On campus, he has assisted with the athletic department’s Halloween Extravaganza as well as various USTA/ITA Campus Kids’ Days.
