For students serious about pursuing a career in sports, Going Pro: Getting into the Sports Game event will feature a panel of experts from ESPN, NCAA, PepsiCo, along with many others, sharing their tips and tricks about the industry. Students will have the opportunity to talk with representatives from these agencies and others as well.

Why:

“Well, the event was created because we have so many students here at UA specifically interested in pursuing a career in sports,” said Sarah Bridger Gilmore, communications specialist at The University of Alabama. “What we hope students will gain from the event is both insight into careers in sports and also an opportunity to network with sports professionals. For the panel, we have experts joining us from ESPN, the NCAA, Alabama Athletics, The Football Bowl Association and more. The experts have combined decades of experience working in the field of sports, and we think they will have invaluable insight to share with our students.”

Refreshments will be served after the panel.
