No. 1 Alabama routs Ole Miss for first SEC win of season

No. 1 Alabama scored 62 unanswered points to dominate Ole Miss 62-7 for its first SEC win of the season. The Crimson Tide limited Ole Miss to just two completed passes and 13-passing yards since the end of the first quarter.

On 3rd-and-9 Tua Tagovailoa hit Jerry Jeudy in stride over the middle and Jeudy did the rest, sprinting to the end zone for a 79-yard go-ahead score.

- Henry Ruggs III fumbled after catching a pass from Tua Tagovailoa on the third play of the game’s second drive.
- Tagovailoa hit Jerry Jeudy in stride over the middle on a 79-yard touchdown pass.
- Najee Harris capped a 62-yard drive with a 10-yard run and a dive over the goal line to extend the Crimson Tide’s lead to 21-7.
