Alabama football received a commitment from 2020 three-star tight end Caden Clark (Akron, Ohio) on Tuesday, the Crimson Tide’s sixth commit of the class and second pass-catcher.

The 6-foot-5, 245-pound junior is the sixth-ranked tight end in his class. His commitment keeps Alabama in third place in 247Sports’ team rankings for the 2020 recruiting cycle, trailing Miami and Ohio State.

With the team’s current top two tight ends, senior Hale Hentges and junior Irv Smith Jr., scheduled to move on over the next two seasons, Clark bolsters Alabama’s future tight end depth.

He took two unofficial visits to Penn State and one to Clemson. Alabama offered him on June 7; he also had offers from Kentucky, Cincinnati and Michigan.
