Former governor of Alabama Bob Riley, a University of Alabama alum, will speak at an event sponsored by the UA Career Center. Riley’s speech will be centered around his experience at the University and how it prepared him for a career in a leadership position. The speech will be held in the Ferguson Student Center Ballroom Wednesday, April 25 at 4 pm.

Ashley Olive, manager of employer development at the Career Center, said that with recruiters looking for students with leadership positions, Riley can provide insight from the perspective of a former student.

“One of the things recruiters ask us for most often is leadership experience,” Olive said. “We wanted [Riley] to come down and talk about his time at UA and leadership experience.”
