Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is dusting off their tables and reopening their doors.

The Tuscaloosa location of the casual Mexican restaurant opened originally in 2016 but closed after less than a year due to what their Facebook page described as renovation and HVAC issues. However, new management has taken hold and is breathing new life back into Fuzzy’s. 

The grand opening celebration was held Saturday, April 14, featuring free food and gift card giveaways as well as a live DJ performance. Currently, the restaurant has settled into its normal routine and is offering weekly specials like $2 tacos on Tuesday and $3.50 margaritas on Thursday.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is open from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and closes at 11:45 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Additionally, online ordering is now available at www.fuzzystacoshop.olo.com. The Tuscaloosa branch of the restaurant is located at 2321 University Boulevard.
