Two men were arrested on first-degree rape charges on Thursday after a 22-year-old University of Alabama student was sexually assaulted by three men. A warrant is out for the arrest of the third suspect, according to AL.com.
According to The Tuscaloosa News, the woman told investigators she left a bar on Red Drew Avenue and was walking home when three men offered to take her home. The driver drove her past her residence and said they were going to continue the party. They took her to another location, took her into a bedroom and the three had non-consensual sex with her, said Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Capt. Kip Hart.
The two men that were arrested Thursday are Terry Murphy Jr., 21 and Adarious Smith, 21, and both were released on bond. According to The Tuscaloosa News, Hart said Monday that investigators have a warrant out to charge Deonte Steven Hill, 24, the third suspect, with first-degree rape.
