Even short films can be big on entertainment. 

Tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 13, the Bama Theatre will show the 2018 Oscar nominated short films. The box office will open at 6:30 p.m., and the presentation will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The show will offer a wide variety of plots, genres and emotions. This compilation will feature the nominees from the animated, live action and documentary categories: all three short film categories offered by the Academy Awards. Tickets will be $8 for general admission, $7 for students and seniors and $6 for Art Council Members. This showing is an opportunity to become familiar with a class of films that often goes unnoticed. After watching this compilation, it will be easier to become invested in the competition between these short films at the Oscars. 

The Bama Theatre is located at 600 Greensboro Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, and the 90th annual Academy Awards are set to take place on March 4.
