As a part of their Winter Film Series, Bama Art House will show the Jane Goodall documentary “Jane” on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at the Bama Theatre on Greensboro Avenue.
The film, written and directed by Brett Morgen, features pieces from over 100 hours of raw footage taken from Goodall’s years of field work. Jane Goodall is a world famous anthropologist who lived part of her life in the wild to study chimpanzees. The documentary tells the story of how she produced her groundbreaking work.
Tickets are $8 for general admission, $7 for students and seniors and $6 for Arts Council Members. Punch cards are also available for $60 and allow 10 films in any series. The box office opens at 6:30 p.m. and doors and Bama Bar open at 6:45. The film begins at 7:30.
Bama Art House is presented by the Arts Council of Tuscaloosa and brings contemporary and independent films right here to Tuscaloosa.
