Rows of vinyl records, vintage goods and furnishings stretch as far as the eye can see across the Northport Farmer’s Market. If you search a little more, you may even find vintage clothing, jewelry, housewares, and artwork. These displays can only be seen on one day, Sunday Dec. 3, at the 5th Street Vintage Market Holiday Edition.
This particular Vintage Market will feature handmade decorations and gifts for the upcoming holidays. It will begin at 10 a.m. and last until 4 p.m. with food and drinks available. Admission will be free and anyone is welcome.
The Vintage Market was created by collectors for collectors to display their handmade and antique creations. It features local artists, collectors and crafters with donations from local businesses as well.
The 5th Street Vintage Market is West Alabama’s only vintage day market, and one can only see these vintage goods four times a year. It will be sponsored by This Ol’ Thing Vintage, Grace Aberdean Habitat Alchemy and DJ Tom Kat Kitten. This upcoming Vintage Market will be the final market of the year, and next year’s first Vintage Market will occur in March.
