Tomorrow, Nov. 18, country-rock band Whiskey Myers will be perform alongside Dalton Domino at Druid City Music Hall. This will be the band’s last stop in Alabama, and with Domino, before moving on with their tour. The Texas-based band will be performing songs off their 2016 studio album, “Mud,” as well as hits from their earlier albums such as “Ballad of a Southern Man” and “Anna Marie”.
Tomorrow’s show will feature band members Cody Cannon on lead vocals and guitar, Cody Tate and John Jeffers on rhythm/lead guitar, Gary Brown on bass, and Jeff Hogg on drums. They will also be performing with recent additions Jon Knudson (fiddle/keyboard) and Tony Kent (percussion).
Formed in Palestine, Texas, the group derives their sound from influences such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., and Waylon Jennings among other southern rock/country artists. They debuted with their first album “Road of Life” in 2008 and have since produced 4 albums.
General admission ticket prices are $12 in advance and $15 the day of the show. Premium viewing tickets are $20. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show will start at 9 p.m. All ages are permitted, although attendees under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
