Often a hub for country music performances in the state of Alabama, Tuscaloosa welcomes another classic country crooner tonight for a one-night-only performance.
Tonight, acclaimed country singer Clint Black will perform at the Bama Theatre. The concert is hosted by 95.3 The Bear and Catfish 100.
Over the course of his career, Clint Black has released twelve studio albums and enjoyed success in the country music genre. Thirty of Black’s singles have topped country charts, with 22 hitting number one at some point. In 2015, Black returned to music with his most recent album “On Purpose” and a cross-country tour. A few of his top songs include “Killin Time,” “Like the Rain,” and “A Better Man.”
Black writes new songs while continuing to perform for fans of his already popular music.
“To me, it’s only a ‘comeback’ in that I’m putting out something new,” said Black in a statement on his website. “As someone who has never stopped working, I don’t see me as having gone away, as I tour extensively, write and produce for television, films as well as other artists.”
Tickets for “An Evening with Clint Black” at the Bama Theatre can be purchased at www.bamatheatre.org or at the door. Doors open at 7p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m.
