October is prime time for ghosts, spirits and things that go bump in the night, but haunted spots don’t stop being haunted the other 11 months of the year.
Haunted Tuscaloosa Tours have announced two new tour dates for this weekend. Tours will run Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., with tickets $25 for general, $20 for students and military and $15 for children ages 8-12. If you’re looking to include your whole squad, there’s a discount for groups of 20 or more.
If you decide to embark on this 1.5 hour long journey of spooky proportions, you’ll ride in style on Haunted Tuscaloosa’s own vintage trolley bus, which seats 30. The coach will take guests to 16 haunted locations in Tuscaloosa, beginning with the Drish House, which was ranked as the most haunted house in Alabama by Only in Your State in 2016. There’s also a brief walking tour at three of the locations.
The UA campus also boasts a few haunted spots among the 16. The tour will visit Gorgas Library, Woods Quad and the Allen Bales Theatre.
