Nine Alabama varsity teams will be in competition this week, including a first road test, four doubleheaders, two regular seasons ending and postseason play.
Baseball:
The Alabama baseball team will face the Troy Trojans on Tuesday, March 1 at 6 p.m. CT for its first road test of the season.
Starting Friday, March 4, the Crimson Tide will travel to Cary, North Carolina for the USA Baseball-Irish Classic that will go through Sunday, March 6. It will play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Friday at 4 p.m. CT.
On Saturday, the Crimson Tide will play its first doubleheader of the season with a game at 11:30 a.m. CT versus the Niagara University Purple Eagles and a game at 3:30 p.m. CT versus the North Carolina State Wolfpack.
The Classic will conclude Sunday with an 11:00 a.m. CT game versus the Brown University Bears.
Softball:
The Alabama softball team will travel to Jacksonville, Alabama on Tuesday, March 2 to face the Jacksonville State Gamecocks at 5 p.m. CT.
Starting Friday, March 4, the Crimson Tide will host the Easton Crimson Classic. It will go through Sunday, March 6 and be televised on the SEC Network +.
Alabama will play a doubleheader Friday starting with a 4 p.m. CT game versus the University of Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks and a 6 p.m. CT game versus the North Dakota State Bison.
There will be another doubleheader on Saturday, starting with a game at 1:30 p.m. CT versus the DePaul University Demons. The second game will be at 4:00 p.m. CT against the North Dakota Bison.
The Crimson Tide will wrap up the classic Sunday at 1:30 p.m. CT when it faces the University of Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.
Men’s Basketball:
The Alabama men’s basketball team will finish home-play for the season on Tuesday, March 2 when it will face the University of Arkansas Razorback at 8 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.
The Crimson Tide’s regular season comes to an end Saturday, March 5 when it travels to Athens, Georgia to face the University of Georgia Bulldogs at 3 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on ESPN 2.
Women’s Basketball:
The Alabama women’s basketball will travel to Jacksonville, Florida for the SEC Tournament starting Wednesday, March 2 and will conclude on Sunday, March 6. The tournament will be televised on the SEC Network.
Women’s Golf:
The Alabama women’s golf team will travel to the Long Cove Club in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina on Friday, March 4 for the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate Tournament that will go conclude on Sunday, March 6.
Gymnastics:
The Alabama gymnastic team’s regular season will come to a close on Friday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m. CT as it travels to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to face the LSU Tigers. The meet will be televised on the SEC Network in a taped delay.
Swimming and Diving:
The Alabama swimming and diving team will travel to Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, March 6 for the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships that will go through Tuesday, March 8.
Men’s Tennis:
On Friday, March 4, the Alabama men’s tennis team will travel to Columbia, South Carolina to face the South Carolina Gamecocks for a 4:00 p.m. CT match.
The Crimson Tide will then travel to Athens, Georgia to face the Georgia Bulldogs on Sunday, March 6 for a 12 p.m. CT match.
Women’s Tennis:
The Alabama women’s tennis team will host the LSU Tigers on Wednesday, March 3 for a 5 p.m. CT match.
On Saturday, March 5, it will face the Texas A&M Aggies in a 12 p.m. CT match in Tuscaloosa.
