“My greatest accomplishment, the personal success that I value the most from my time at UA, is that I never gave up. I have walked across the Quad crying more times than I can count. I have dropped down on my knees in prayer in a bathroom stall, and there have been days when I’ve felt like the biggest failure on campus. But through it all, I never compromised my dreams. I’ve been given much more than I deserve and I never take the opportunities that I have for granted. If you stand firm in your convictions and you fully commit yourself to everything that you do, you will realize that you can truly do anything that you set your mind to. Sometimes life seems to take you one step forward only to bring you two steps back, but if you keep pushing forward towards what you want, all of a sudden you’ll find yourself making strides that you never would have imagined you could. But if you give up, you’ll always wonder what you missed. When all is said and done, I never want to wonder what I missed. “
