Chris Owens signed with Alabama on Wednesday.
He is one of eight mid-year enrollees for the Crimson Tide. He played offensive tackle in high school at Arlington Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas. He’s 6-foot-2.5, weighs 312 pounds and was rated as a 4-star prospect by 247 Sports.
He is expected to make the transition to play guard for Alabama.
