The game Alabama fans have been waiting for is almost here, but before Alabama fans can watch the Crimson Tide try to avenge last season’s loss they have to get there on time for the kickoff which is slated for 8:15 p.m.
Fans attending the game might want to leave earlier than planned to avoid getting stuck in traffic around construction areas. Arriving on campus on time might not ensure that fans won’t miss kickoff. Getting to the stadium a little earlier should ensure the gates don’t get overwhelmed like they did last weekend.
Fans should also remember they are not allowed to bring the following items in Bryant Denny Stadium. Oversized bags, backpacks or purses larger than 8.5 inches x 11 inches (the size of one sheet of paper); video recorders/camcorders; outside food and drink, including coolers; firearms and weapons; computers; umbrellas; artificial noisemakers; strollers; chair backs larger than 16 inches; cameras and telephoto lenses larger than 6 inches; flags or banners on poles; selfie sticks.
The University of Alabama will once again offer water to guests inside the stadium. Four water stations will be set up in the upper deck and an additional four will be available on the mezzanine level. Cups will be available at each of these stations but fans can also bring in clear, empty bottles to fill up if they choose. Locations for the water stations are in sections D, K, AA and NN on the mezzanine level and the top of each spiral ramp in the upper deck.
Fans should also remember the entire University of Alabama campus, including Bryant-Denny Stadium, is smoke free.
ESPN’s “College Gameday” will be set up in front of Bryant-Denny Stadium. The show will air live from this location beginning at 8 a.m. until the shows conclusion at 11 p.m.
