Tuscaloosa Park and Recreation Association and The Faces of America will host a free “Popsicles in the Park” event Saturday at Snow Hinton Park from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free and will feature social skill lessons, games and stories for children 4-11, prizes and free popsicles courtesy of Steel City Pops. This event will be the first of five of this kind hosted at various parks across Tuscaloosa. The program is funded by proceeds from Kappa Delta sorority at The University of Alabama.
