The Southeastern Conference has been the dominant conference in football. Fifty-four former SEC football players were selected in the 2015 NFL Draft.
SEC baseball isn’t far behind. The first two picks of the 2015 MLB Draft were SEC shortstops. Four of the first eight picks play in the SEC for teams in the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
