The University of Alabama’s consumer sciences department is hosting the Alabama Personal Finance Challenge at 9 a.m. on Tuesday in the Child Development Research Center. The challenge is open to the top 20 high school teams from across the state and will consist of a test and quiz bowl, which will test on a variety of finance topics including income and money management, spending, credit, savings and investing. The competition is sponsored by the Alabama Council on Economic Education.
