Senior Alabama basketball guard Levi Randolph was named the SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year and a second team All-SEC honoree on Tuesday. Randolph, Alabama’s captain and a three-time Capital One Academic All-District IV First Team honoree, is only the second Alabama basketball player to earn the Scholar Athlete of the Year Award. On the court, Randolph leads the Crimson Tide in scoring with 15.2 points per game, assists with 2.4 assists per game, 1.4 steals per game and 35.2 minutes per game. He also ranked second in rebounds per game with five.
