Alabama softball volunteer assistant coach Molly Fichtner signed with the Dallas Charge, the newest National Pro Fastpitch franchise. She will begin playing with the team this summer. Fichtner, a Houston native, played the past two seasons at Alabama after transferring from UT-San Antonio. At Alabama, she was a 2014 All-SEC selection and an Academic All-American, leading the Crimson Tide with a .391 average in SEC play as a senior.
“We are so happy that Molly gets to continue to play the game she absolutely loves,” said Alabama head coach Patrick Murphy.
