For the second week in a row, Alabama softball is ranked fifth in the ESPN/USA Softball poll. Last weekend, the Crimson Tide hosted its second straight top-five opponent in Louisiana-Lafayette. After splitting the first two games in a Saturday doubleheader, Alabama clinched the series on Sunday. The team begins SEC play this weekend with a 15-4 record on the season, hosting Ole Miss in a three-game series in Tuscaloosa.
