Alabama Triathletes, also known as Bama Tri, are now accepting applications for new members. The triathlon team is open to all students at The University of Alabama. According to the team ’s website, both new and seasoned triathletes are welcome to join. Team members are provided with training plans and workouts that vary between swimming, running, and cycling. The team trains and competes year round, and race season lasts from August to May. Dues to the team are $52 per semester.
