Bobby Wilson, a professor in the department of geography, was awarded the Association of American Geographers 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award for his more than 40 years of work with urban and social geography, urban studies and anti-racist theory and practice. In addition, he was recognized for his teaching, leadership and mentoring. Wilson will be presented the award at the annual meeting of the AAG in Chicago, April 25.
