The SGA announced on Monday that a graphic design competition will be held for its “Look Up Legends” campaign.
Look Up Legends is a program that was announced by the SGA in collaboration with the Division of Student Life, the University of Alabama Police Department, and UA Safety and Transportation on Dec. 5 in an attempt to increase pedestrian safety on campus.
Twenty-eight A-frame signs were placed across various locations on campus with mottos reading “Look Up, Legends!”, “Where Legends are Safe!” and “Heads up Alabama!” among others.
“Winning designs will be showcased across campus, making safety messaging more engaging and impactful,” the application said.
Applicants have an option to submit designs regarding pedestrian safety, bike safety or an Instagram ad campaign.

The deadline to submit a design is Tuesday. Applicants can submit their design here.
