Bid Day marks the end of UA’s Panhellenic Association Recruitment Week, more commonly referred to as Bama Rush. After a week of vying for a spot in one of the university’s sororities, hopeful girls open their bids and “run home” to the sorority that has accepted them as new members.
In recent years, this tradition at UA has exploded in popularity on platforms such as Tik Tok and Instagram and even resulted in a documentary that is currently streaming on Max. Although there are varying views and opinions on Greek life at The University of Alabama, one thing is certain: Bama Rush has captured the attention of the world.
