One of the longest running reality shows, MTV’s “The Real World,” is casting for their 28th season at Mellow Mushroom today. The show is looking for anyone who will be 21 years old by March 1, 2013, and looks between the ages of 20 and 24.
The show, which premiered in 1992, has had a wide variety of cast members who have brought a lot of controversial topics to the show. In a press release, executive producer Jonathan Murray said the characters usually recruited for the show have had strong personalities and are not afraid to speak their minds.
Any UA student who is interested in living in a house and having their lives taped should bring a recent photograph and picture ID to the casting at Mellow Mushroom, which will last from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The location of the filming has not been announced.
