Donuts are coming back to campus this spring. 

The Dunkin’ Donuts inside the Lakeside Dining Hall has been closed this semester for “a refresh mandated by their national headquarters,” according to UA spokesperson Shane Dorrill. 

With the closure, students have been limited to the two Starbucks locations on campus.  

The Lakeside Dunkin’ Donuts is the closest breakfast fast-food location to four dormitories: Presidential Village I and II, Riverside, Lakeside and John England. 

Previously, students were able to order a variety of items off a large menu. 

Dorrill said that when the location reopens in the spring, it “will have a new layout with the donuts on display in a new front counter.” 

The store will have other new fixtures, including a four-tap beverage dispensing system. This system will be for a variety of coffee and teas. 

Coffee and teas have previously been made by baristas upon ordering.
