Imagine if last Saturday’s Ole Miss game leaves fans hospitalized and intubated. We should never allow such consequences from an Alabama football game.
The University of Alabama’s relationship with the city of Tuscaloosa doesn’t always translate into improvements for the community. The University and the city can feel as though they are worlds apart.
The forced move to off-campus housing may be a very real and valid obstacle for students who didn’t plan for it. But after a month of this new reality, students on and off campus should use the experience to examine what it means to live in Tuscaloosa.
