Million Dollar Band to perform in Thanksgiving Day Parade

In 14 months, the University of Alabama’s Million Dollar Band will be high-stepping, twirling, tooting and hooting all the way to New York City, where they’ll be performing for the first time in the 2020 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The Holle Family Foundation gave $10 million to the College of Communication and Information Sciences, the largest donation in the college’s history, according to an announcement by dean Mark Nelson on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
The Capstone College of Nursing also provides free flu shots to students. Junior nursing student Mollie Wallace administers a flu shot to sophomore Jessica Bell Tuesday afternoon in Daster Hall.
