PRACTICE REPORT: Two linebackers limited at start of Tennessee week

Alabama football began preparing for Saturday’s annual rivalry game against Tennessee on a cloudy afternoon. Here are our observations from the media viewing period:
Redshirt senior Anfernee Jennings and redshirt junior Terrell Lewis were both with the rest of the outside linebackers but limited in individual drills. Lewis was not seen participating in any drills, while Jennings went slower and after everyone had gone.
Freshman Evan Neal, redshirt junior Landon Dickerson and redshirt junior Deonte Brown led the offensive line at left guard, center and right guard, respectively. They were followed by freshman Pierce Quick, freshman Darrian Dalcourt and redshirt senior Matt Womack.
True freshmen Shane Lee and Christian Harris led the inside linebackers, followed by redshirt sophomore Markail Benton.Â
The first set of defensive linemen through drills was senior Raekwon Davis, freshman D.J. Dale, freshman Byron Young and redshirt sophomore Phidarian Mathis. Defensive line coach Brian Baker shouted at the group to watch the ball and not jump early, but got two freshmen to jump immediately after.
