Two weeks after the resignation of former dean of students Jamie Riley, UA students staged a march across campus to address silence from administration and issue demands for a more inclusive campus. Over 100 students marched from the former dean’s office to Rose Administration on Thursday, Sept. 19.
Black students reported receiving anonymous racist text messages last week with language referencing slavery; for some, however, this is not the first encounter with racism at the University, which has not publicly addressed the texts.
The International Students Association hosted its annual fall festival in John England Jr. Hall on Friday.
