Workshop teaches students how to succeed academically

Who: The Center for Academic Success is hosting its annual workshop.

What: Keys to Academic Success, a workshop aimed at getting students to set academic and personal goals

When: Monday, Oct. 15 from 3-4 p.m.

Where: 355 Russell Hall

Why: “The thing about the learning skills workshops is that it definitely encourages the students to think about their thinking,” said Keara Grant, learning resource specialist. “I think that is the role of the student on this campus is to mark information but then try to create information from the workshop.”
