The Crimson team defeated the White 24-12 in Alabama’s spring game on Saturday. The second team offense, led by Mac Jones, was able to score the only touchdowns in the game.
Moment of the game
During a game in which big plays were at a premium, redshirt freshman Chadarius Townsend’s 65-yard touchdown reception from redshirt freshman quarterback Mac Jones provided the day’s biggest highlight. After catching Jones’ pass, Townsend shed a tackle and raced down the sideline for the score, putting the White team up 14 – 0 early in the second quarter.
