Four-star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle committed to Alabama. He chose Alabama over Texas A&M and Texas.
UPDATE: Waddle officially signed with Alabama. He is the fifth recruit to sign on Wednesday.
Waddle is the No. 39 overall player, No. 5 wide receiver and the No. 3 player from Texas in the 2018 class according to the 247Sports composite.
The 5-foot-9.5 receiver played for the West team in the U.S. All-American game earlier this year.
He took his official visit on Nov. 4, and received his official offer on April 19, 2017.
The Bellaire, Texas native is the fourth recruit to commit to Alabama on National Signing Day so far. He is the the second receiver in the 2018 class, joining Xavier Williams.
